Alabama Crimson Tide Flags

Also known as ‘Bama, the University of Alabama is located in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide university athletic teams compete in NCAA’s Division I and the Southeastern Conference. Sporting crimson and white, the teams maintain rivals with Auburn and University of Tennessee. The annual football match with Auburn is called the Iron Bowl; yet all the sports teams hold this heated rivalry. UA’s mascot is Big Al, an elephant. As of 2008, no other football team has appeared in or won more bowl games than ‘Bama.
