Alabama Nylon State Flag 12"x18"

Our 12"x18" Alabama State flags are constructed of tough, long-lasting nylon which offers the best resistance to damaging ultraviolet radiation allowing the flags color to last longer than traditional nylon flags.  Our outdoor Alabama flags feature fray resistant stitching (4-stitch fly ends) that create durable seams that resist fraying better. Lightweight nylon material dries quickly and flies beautifully in even the slightest breeze. Our Alabama flags are finished with a heavy-weight canvas header and solid brass grommets.

More information on the Alabama State flag

Adopted by the state legislature in 1895, the flag has a crimson cross of St. Andrew on a field of white. (A diagonal cross on a flag is called a saltire.) It resembles other flags, such as the flag of St. Patrick or the Cross of Burgundy flag. It is more commonly believed that the flag’s saltire imitates the Confederate Battle flag’s blue diagonal cross.
