Our 12"x18" California State flags are constructed of tough, long-lasting nylon which offers the best resistance to damaging ultraviolet radiation allowing the flags color to last longer than traditional nylon flags.  Our outdoor California flags feature fray resistant stitching (4-stitch fly ends) that create durable seams that resist fraying better. Lightweight nylon material dries quickly and flies beautifully in even the slightest breeze. These California are finished with a heavy-weight canvas header and solid brass grommets.

Often called the Bear Flag, California’s state flag consists of a white field with a red stripe at the bottom. In the top left corner is a red 5-point star and in the center is a brown bear facing the left standing upon a grass plat. The words “California Republic” are written in brown under the bear. In 1911, Governor Hiram Johnson made the Bear Flag the official state flag.
