Evolution of the American Flag
| The American Flag and it's History...
The American flag has stood as a symbol of freedom, discovery, vision and sacrifice like no other national flag. The present American flag was adopted on July 4, 1960 and displays 50 stars that represent the 50 United States and 13 stripes which pays tribute to our history representing the original 13 colonies. The American flag is honored with a pledge , song and many official regulations about the display and disposal.
