Our mini 8"x12" Hawaii flags are made of a polyester and come mounted on a black plastic staff with plastic spearhead. These mini Hawaii flags feature a staff size of 18"x¼".

Hawaii is the only US state flag to feature the Union Jack. The flag of the United Kingdom is displayed in the canon in the top right corner. The flag has 8 stripes of white, red and blue; these represent the 8 major islands (Hawaii, Oahu, Kauai, Kahoolawe, Lanai, Maui, Molokai and Niihau). Some believe that the flag was designed as a deliberate hybrid between the Union Jack and The US flag during the War of 1812 so that Hawaii would not be seen as an ally to either country.
